| Description: | In Joint Sponsorship with Cambridge Biomedical Campus and Cambridge University Health Partners. 'Hospitals of the Future - e-Hospital – Open Platforms, Secure Innovative Applications?' The need for mobile clinical application innovation is clear, but the need for patient security is paramount. This half-day event will provide a clear discussion on the challenging associated issues. For example, could a mobile application store form the deployment platform for distributing innovative solutions over which all care organisations (GPs, hospitals, social care, etc) provide integrated secure services? This series takes an innovative approach to design the possible e-hospital of the future. Confirmed speakers include Paul McGhee from Cambridge University Health Partners/Academic Health Science Network, David Roberts from Citrix, James Wood from Department of Health and Christof Kastner from Cambridge University NHS Foundation Trust.
