Antenova, the high tech developer of embedded antennas for mobile devices, says it is has been selected by three leading Korean manufacturers of vehicle black boxes for their global markets.

iTronics, AMON and UB1 have all signed with Antenova as they seek to meet the demands of government legislation and the insurance industry, both of which want better monitoring and recording of driver behaviour to improve safety, reduce claims and assess collision liability.

"We have seen increasing interest in our GPS RADIONOVA RF Antenna modules from vehicle 'black box' and other vehicle tracking device manufactures," said Greg McCray, CEO of Antenova in a company statement. "Many of the 'black box' drive recorder/tracker devices are manufactured in Korea for the Japanese and European markets."
