Team Consulting device spotted by Red Dot

A Cambridge designed medical device will be exhibited at a museum in German for a year having won an international award.

Medical device developer, Team Consulting picked up a 2012 Red Dot Design Award for Product Design for the Revitive IX, a circulation boosting device aimed at the elderly and sufferers of conditions such as diabetes. Set for a commercial launch next month, the product was designed for Actegy Health.

The product uses electrical stimulation and what is described as an ‘Isorocker system’ to increase the blood flow in the feet and legs.Red Dot winners go on show at the Red Dot museum in Essen, Germany for the next year, as well as being celebrated at an event in July.
